Since 2019, KÜSSE Berlin promotes actively emerging artists through exhibitions and cultural events. Originally based in Kathmandu (Nepal), the collective made the decision to establish a permanent presence in Berlin, Germany.

Since its creation, KÜSSE Berlin has presented the work of more than 50 international artists and collaborated with various independent organizations worldwide, including Kaalo 101 (Kathmandu, Nepal), Preet Nagar Residency (Punjab, India), SOSÂGE (Auckland, New Zealand), Ola Radio (Marseille, France) and Vale Arvoredo - Espaço de Residência Artistica (Morro Reuter, Brazil). The collective has also organized the 48H ABRACADABRA festival, which serves as an opportunity for exploration, experimentation, and the exchange of ideas on the interplay between the body, nature,  and culture. Artists, performers, designers, thinkers, anthropologists, and scientists are all invited to contribute their creative perspectives on the question What does your relationship with nature look like?

Over the years, KÜSSE Berlin has transformed into an innovative laboratory for curatorial experimentation. It seeks to challenge conventional exhibition formats and disrupt traditional institutional thinking by embracing alternative approaches. The exhibition space becomes a safe space,  living space that stimulates immersive experiences through encounters. The collective aims to break down disciplinary boundaries by integrating diverse art forms, including cinema, poetry, tattoo art, fashion design, with visual art. It embraces a multidisciplinary and contemporary vision of society, where the artistic program serves as a platform for philosophical reflection as well as fostering conviviality, contemplation, and meditation. Above all, the collective places great emphasis on supporting emerging artists.
